Wallz App
A small product about visual choice.
Help someone judge an image on their own screen.
Wallz was an independent wallpaper app built around browsing collections and previewing how an image would feel on a phone.
Browsing, categories and settings surround the images.
The recovered originals show the gallery, category navigation, search and product settings. They preserve the design, but not a separate before-version of the experience.
The interface can get in the way of the material.
Wallpaper is chosen visually. Navigation needs to support browsing and preview without competing with the image; this is the rationale of the work, not a documented research result.
Keep browsing tactile and make preview part of the choice.
The documented direction uses gesture-led browsing and preview before committing. The original visual refresh and navigation designs survive; a history of rejected concepts does not.
Move from collection to image to preview.
This explanatory flow connects the browsing and preview scope supported by the source material.

Preview → return to the collection → keep exploring.
Keep the controls close and the image in charge.
The reconstructed wireframes explain the interaction in the site’s visual language. They are new explanatory artifacts, not historical research prototypes.

Let the images lead.
Navigation and collection controls support the material people came to explore. The original gallery, navigation and settings mockups below show the design in detail.
The original work is available; a study record is not.
The archive does not include participant findings. A useful next evaluation would cover browsing continuity, finding a category and understanding what the wallpaper preview represents.
An independent product contribution preserved in the original designs.
The images establish the browsing, navigation and visual-design work. They do not provide measured adoption, retention or task-success results.
